Castle - Metal Band (CA) returns to Small's wsg Temple of the Fuzz Witch and Toe Cutter on Saturday, April 20.

8 p.m. doors / 18+ / $7 adv. and $10 at the door

California heavy metal trio CASTLE have announced a slew of U.S. tour dates in support of their newest album, Deal Thy Fate, released Oct 20 via Ripple Music. The upcoming U.S. dates, which feature stops at Black Smoke Conjuring SXSW showcase in Austin, TX and the NYDM Spring Bash in Milwaukee, WI will kick off with a one week run to Texas in March followed by a three-week trek to the East Coast in April/May.

In addition, CASTLE have also been confirmed for the inaugural Monolith On The Mesa to take place in Taos, NM on May 17-18 alongside OM, Windhand and others, as well as this year’s edition of Northwest Terror Fest in Seattle, WA on May 30 - June 2. Expect several more dates to be announced around the festivals.

Deal Thy Fate was recorded by Billy Anderson (Sleep, Neurosis) at Hallowed Halls in Portland, Oregon last spring and is currently available here [insert link: ]. The band’s fifth album follows 2016’s critically-lauded Welcome To The Graveyard and builds on the stripped-down sound of its predecessor, pushing the envelope of classic metal with epic songs that hearken back to fuzzier times while keeping the pedal down on their own hard-edged, modern sound.

Check out CASTLE’s newest video for the track Red Phantom:

Strangelove-The Depeche Mode Experience

Doors @ 8pm.
18+ welcome with proper ID.
Tickets: $12 in Advance / $15 Day of Show

Residents DJ Pleasure Kitten, DJ Elektrosonik and DJ Aaron Hingst spin before and after the show!

Los Angeles based STRANGELOVE-The Depeche Mode Experience delivers a career spanning, pitch perfect “best of” concert that transports the listener through time and touches on several key points in Depeche Mode’s illustrious career. Songs from throughout the Depeche canon are lovingly recreated; from favorites on DM’s debut Speak and Spell to the newest fare from ‘Mode’s latest- 2017’s “Spirit”. No detail of STRANGELOVE’s presentation has been overlooked. The visual presentation with stage set pieces and in-show costume changes reflect different eras of Depeche Mode’s story; which spans almost four decades!

Truly evocative of a Depeche Mode arena/stadium stage show; the scale of STRANGELOVE’s theatrical stage production is unparalleled, save for the real article. Custom-produced multimedia projection visuals delight the concertgoer’s senses and enhance the illusion that they’re witnessing an actual Depeche Mode concert.

These accomplished musicians have a reverence and devotion to Depeche Mode’s body of work that has driven them to recreate every possible detail and bring the “Music To The Masses” in a concert setting that transcends a mere tribute production and feels more like a shared communal fan club celebration of halcyon days of new wave and emerging electronica. Accuracy and authenticity is a hallmark of the project, with the band employing as many authentic vintage synthesizers and samplers as possible in recreating the classic and widely varied sounds of Depeche Mode’s discography.

With over 120 million records sold and a rabid international fan base, Depeche Mode’s status as elder statesmen of electronica is cemented. Their enormous fan base encompasses all ages and crosses every demographic. They just won a Grammy this year. Their Global Spirit tour, continuing into 2018, has set world box office records. STRANGELOVE –The Depeche Mode Experience brings a thoroughly enjoyable and staggeringly authentic DM concert to concertgoers, and connects with international audiences, wherever the group performs.

Writer, actor, and standup comedian Joe DeRosa has become a favorite on the comedy circuit. His brand of comedy, which mixes brutal honesty and frustration at the workings of the world, has won over comedy fans, radio listeners, and TV audiences nationwide.
In 2009 and 2013 DeRosa taped two half hour specials for Comedy Central. Since 2010 he has released five comedy albums. His first two standup albums, The Depression Auction and Return of The Son of The Depression Auction, were released on Comedy Central records in 2010 and 2011, respectively. A third and fourth album, You Will Die and Mistakes Were Made: The B-Sides were released in 2013 and 2014. In 2016, Joe taped his first one hour special, which he also directed, again for Comedy Central, entitled You Let Me Down. The special and album debuted in February of 2017.
Joe has also worked as a writer on a variety of notable projects, including Netflix’s highly acclaimed Wet Hot American Summer: First Day of Camp, Comedy Central’s Jeff & Some Aliens, and TBS’ cult hit The Pete Holmes Show, on which he was also a featured performer. Online, Joe created, wrote, directed and starred in Bedrocket’s 2013 web series We Should Break Up and the Warner Brothers web series What Are We Waiting For? In 2011 he directed and, along with fellow comedians Bill Burr and Robert Kelly, co-wrote and starred in the short film CHEAT, which premiered at The Tribeca Film Festival that year. In October 2012, Simon and Schuster released a book based on the film, written by the three comedians themselves.
In recent years, Joe has acted quite a bit, being seen as recurring crooked veterinarian Dr. Caldera on AMC’s Better Call Saul. He also has made appearances on Comedy Central’s Inside Amy Schumer, FX’s Louie,HBO’s Bored To Death, E’s Chelsea Lately, and in the video game Grand Theft Auto V.
When he’s not writing or acting, Joe headlines comedy clubs across the globe and has been featured at renowned festivals such as South By Southwest, Montreal’s Just for Laughs, Toronto’s JFL 42, The Moontower Comedy Festival, The New York Comedy Festival, The Edinburgh Fringe, The Galway and Dublin Vodaphone Festivals, Gilda’s Laughfest, the Melbourne International Comedy Festival, Vince Vaughn’s Wild West Comedy Festival, and Bonnaroo.
