Our front room is home to an art deco-era bar stocked with more than 50 beers including local and national craft labels, European brands and your favorite lawnmower beer in cold 24 oz. cans. Down the hall in our live room, Small's hosts national and local bands and DJs several nights a week. Check out our calendar for details.
Small's was established in 1999. Our building, originally a bank, dates back to 1923.
Small's has been featured in Maxim, Travel and Leisure, Guitar World and other national outlets.

Night Club
Tickets · $20
7pm Doors / All Ages
TICKETS: www.ticketweb.com/
Night Club is Emily Kavanaugh and Mark Brooks: a dark, electro-goth duo from Los Angeles, CA. Touching upon themes such as mental illness, loneliness, and revenge, their self-released albums have helped them build a cult-like following since their formation in 2012.
In October 2016 Night Club released their 1st LP, Requiem for Romance, showcasing the duo’s discovery of their signature sound, with their single “Dear Enemy” entering heavy rotation in the underground club scene.
Partnering with Titmouse Animation and Google VR, they premiered the 360-video for their single “Show It 2 Me” on YouTube to viral success.
After completing a US tour with industrial legends Lords of Acid and Combichrist in 2017, they found themselves back in the studio. Inspired by their own personal dealings with depression and anxiety, they released their sophomore LP Scary World in August 2018, which debuted on the US iTunes Electronic chart at #4.
Shortly after the album’s release they were picked to open for A Perfect Circle on their Fall 2018 North American tour.
Night Club released their third full-length album Die Die Lullaby on October 9, 2020; written and produced entirely by Kavanaugh and Brooks, and co-mixed by Dave “Rave” Ogilvie (Skinny Puppy, Nine Inch Nails, Marilyn Manson, Carly Rae Jepsen).

New Monarch
New Monarch
w/ Pray For Sleep, Avalon Black
7pm Doors / All Ages
When you take a group of musicians like those in NEW MONARCH who have pierced the veil of the music industry (getting a taste of success) and drop them into a twilight-zone-esque Covid-19 quarantine, the resultant material will be directly reflective of their own personal experience. They didn’t sit and listen to what everyone else was doing, they didn’t work with any other musicians and they didn’t tour with bands that influenced them. The proverbial blinders were on and they did what came naturally. NEW MONARCH consists of Ryan Williams, whose term as guitarist and songwriter for Red Sun Rising helped thrust the band from garage to greatness and James Lascu and Matt Puhy, AKA the powerhouse rhythm section from rock band Wilson (a band known for their amazing live shows)! Adding fresh perspective is vocalist Sabastian Duke. His soulful voice and soaring range are highlights of every song.

Friday, August 11th
Pelican
wsg Upper Wilds
7pm Doors / All Ages
Pelican is a dreamlike art-metal institution, a band whose kaleidoscopic melodies and ocean-dredging riffs have now hypnotized audiences for more than two decades. Emerging from the frozen tundras of Chicago, Pelican were early adopters in blending post-rock’s majestic repetition with sludge metal’s skull-vibrating bluster, adding their own singular sense of keening emo-psychedelia and heavy-metal motorik. Since then, their prismatic instrumental mesmerism has rippled across six critically acclaimed studio albums, soundtracked episodes of CSI: Miami and True Blood, and could even be spotted on MTV during the waning days of music video.
Pelican will once again be hitting the road in 2022, emerging from the shadows of the pummeling bleakness of 2019’s Nighttime Stories. Following the departure of long-standing guitarist Dallas Thomas, the band will be joined on upcoming dates with founding guitarist Laurent Schroeder-Lebec, reuniting the classic Pelican lineup behind albums like 2005’s landmark The Fire in Our Throats Will Beckon the Thaw. That album — along with Pelican’s spiraling debut Australasia (2003) and their bludgeoning breakthrough City of Echoes (2007) — are getting the deluxe vinyl reissue treatment thanks to Thrill Jockey, re-illuminating the band’s first three albums with rarities, unreleased outtakes, demos and remastered audio.

Saturday, October 21st
Bell Witch
Bell Witch
wsg Spirit Possession
7pm Doors / All Ages
Nothing's bigger than life. All vastnesses -- expanding space, infinite time -- crouch inside of consciousness. On a historical scale, to say nothing of a cosmic one, the individual human life vanishes, and yet it's the only aperture any of us get into reality. It's barely there, and it's all there is.
That's the paradox Bell Witch drives at. For more than a decade, the Pacific Northwestern doom metal band has sent tides surging over the seawalls of the song form, unraveling conventional expectations about the ways music stations itself in time to absorb a listener's attention. Rather than seek catharsis, the duo's songs heave themselves through time at a glacial pace, staving off resolution in favor of a trancelike capsule eternity. Invoking both boundlessness and claustrophobia in the same charged gesture, Bell Witch cultivates a sense of time outside of time, an oasis inside an increasingly frenetic media culture.
For their new album, The Clandestine Gate, bassist Dylan Desmond and drummer Jesse Shreibman exploded Bell Witch's bounds. Like 2017's lauded Mirror Reaper, The Clandestine Gate is a single 83-minute track -- a composition that pulses and breathes on a filmic timeframe. It constitutes the first chapter in a planned triptych of longform albums, collectively called Future's Shadow.
